The LAZER 224 incorporates four (4) Lazer Cutting Blades plus a Center Power Point to assure cutting stability. The 2 stage booster action of the Four Lazer Blades make the LAZER 224 the fastest and smoothest cutting auger ever built by StrikeMaster. This unit is powered by the industries most reliable 2 horsepower Tecumseh, 2 cycle engine. The engine is coupled with a LT296 die cast aluminum transmission with heat treated gears, highspeed 25-1 gear ratio to provide unequaled performance. The LAZER 224 Tufflite® Handle System is extremely lightweight and is constructed of Dupont Zytel® nylon resin. The handle system provides a lightweight, strong, tough and a low temperature resistant platform for the Rotary Thumb direct throttle system to eliminate cold weather throttle freezing. Additional features include a rustproof white gas tank, that allows the operator to visually see the fuel level, plus the ice auger shaft and flighting is powder coated to reduce ice build-up.
